The night Aunty Tolu returned,
we watched as she pour herself into the sink, fresh milk
pulled out from her body.
Her breast,
a swollen wound; a Lazarus of nameless feeling.
Leaking nipples;
squeezed by the grief of a slacked hand.
Another name for pain is
a mother’s breast, longing for the mouth of a lost child.
